Initial sweetness and raisin flavours linger to reveal hints of toffee. Underlying structure of tannin and well integrated spirit. Finish is long and the raisin flavours return and linger in the mouth.
Fine Old Wines have been matured for years and years in old oak hogsheads, and no this is nothing to do with pigs! It is the large barrels used for the fermenting of wine.
From one of Rutherglen's best producers, this Muscat is terrific value. It shows characters of caramel, toffee, hazelnuts and brown sugar.

Excellent
Excellent muscat. Went out to a friend's place for tea the other night and took a bottle with us - the bottle was well and truly finished well before tea was. Was very well received by all there. Will definitely be reordering.
